The recall includes the 55g and 105g packs of Hot & Spicy Chips with best before dates up to and including 5 June 2026. The Calbee Pizza Chips impacted are the 55g packs with best before dates of up to and including 28 April 2026.
Calbee Group said it has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, to tell their members about the recall.
The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. It was asking any customers with allergies to return these to store for a refund.
Meanwhile, Aldi is taking the “precautionary step” of recalling its Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks because it may contain peanuts which are not mentioned on the label.

Aldi has requested that customers return the product to store, where a full refund will be given.
