The investment has seen the company automate part of the packaging line and pasteuriser. The investment also includes the implementation of manufacturing standards such as structured 5S management, which will allow the business to optimise the brewing process and continue to enhance quality assurance.
The investment in Curious Brewery has been on-going, beginning in late 2024 with the installation of a Flash Pasteuriser to allow for processing of Efes beer. This was followed this year by the purchase of a keg washer.
Sunrise said that over the last four years it has acquired a number of brands with the aim of growing them whilst preserving their unique identities.

Mather added that Sunrise’s mission is to support and grow the legacy of the businesses it has acquired by investing in not only the facilities, but the people and their expertise.
