Delifresh is a premium quality provider of whole and prepared fruits, vegetables and chilled products with operations spanning from London to Newcastle.
Musgrave says the acquisition further strengthens its position in the premium foodservice sector in Great Britain, following previous acquisitions of Ritter Courivaud, Town & Country Fine Foods, and Italicatessen UK, suppliers of premium ingredients to chefs, restaurants, and hospitality businesses across the UK.
Stuart Campbell, managing director for Musgrave Group in Great Britain, said: “By bringing Delifresh into the Musgrave Group, we are adding a strong player in the fresh, chilled, and speciality products space to our portfolio. This acquisition aligns with our intent to capture more market share in the premium and high-quality food sectors, as we continue to enhance our product range and geographical reach to meet growing customer demand.”
He added: “I look forward to working with the leadership team at Delifresh to explore ways for the business to grow while continuing to provide their existing customers with the excellent customer service and quality products they are accustomed to.”
The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
