Middleton Foods is adding 780m2 to its factory across four floors, which will link to its dedicated allergen control production area and will incorporate a ‘state-of-the-art’ development kitchen, designed and custom built by ‘Qook! by KFE Ltd.’
The area will also include a dedicated presentation suite and photography studio, which the company says will provide the opportunity to enhance its customer experience amongst partners in the fast food, foodservice, butchery, bakery and food manufacturing sectors.
The site is being designed with a sustainable focus including a rainwater harvesting system, solar energy, and electric vehicle charging points.

The family-owned company produces a range of mixes and batters for food service sector including for the fish and chips, bakery markets as well as glazing and seasonings for the butcher market and gluten free and vegan friendly versions.
The company which was established in 1990 has extended its range over the years to incorporate brands of breading, curries, gravies, and coatings in the fast-food industry.
