Financial details of the deal were not disclosed but Taylor Farms said the deal would expand its “global footprint.”
Natures Way Foods is a fresh food manufacturer specialising in the supply of bagged salads, coleslaw and potato salad to major retailers including supermarkets Tesco and Aldi as well foodservice customers.
It employs 1,300 people and has four production sites in Selsey, Runcton, Merston and Drayton. Current employees, executives, and management teams will remain at the company.
Taylor Farms is a North American producer of salads and healthy fresh foods, with production facilities across the US, Canada, Mexico, and most recently in Western Europe.
Taylor Farms and Natures Way Foods said they would collaborate to share best practice and the acquisition would see them accelerate growth and introduce new fresh and healthy products that align with consumer trends.
