Nestlé is tapping into the Pistachio trend with the launch of dessert sauce Carnation Pistachio Flavour Drizzle.

The premium dessert sauce is crafted with a roasted pistachio flavour and blended into a smooth, creamy condensed milk base which can be used to create versatile dishes and drinks for makers and bakers.

The Carnation Pistachio Flavour Drizzle launch joins an existing line up of caramel, chocolate fudge and condensed milk flavours.

The pistachio flavour sauce can be also be used to instantly drizzle over pancakes or cheesecakes, top cupcakes or pop over fruit salads.

The dessert sauce can also be used to elevate drinks by adding to frappes, lattes or milkshakes.

Danielle McAreavey, head of marketing for Carnation UK & Ireland, said: “We’re delighted that our popular Carnation Drizzle range is expanding to cater for pistachio-lovers in the UK. The drizzle range is so quick and easy to use that you’ll be able to serve up impressive treats for friends and family, every time.

“I like to use it when having friends over for brunch. A quick drizzle around the glass and across the top of my drink when I’m making oat-milk latte’s at home is delicious, and looks pretty too.”

According to Waitrose it has seen searches for Pistachio on its website skyrocket.

According to the retailer, the term is up 500% year-on-year in Waitrose.

While Modor Intelligence expects the market size to reach $7.16 billion by 2030.

The popularity of Pistachio also followed the social media popularity of Dubai Chocolate on Tik Tok.

Carnation Pistachio Flavour Drizzle is packaged in a multi-serve squeezy bottle making it ideal for bakers.

Carnation Pistachio Flavour Drizzle will be available to consumers through B&M, Home Bargains, and on Amazon from mid-October.

The launch follows the launch of Pistachio Pots from The Coconut Collab.

Carnation was founded in 1899 and acquired by Nestlé in 1984.

Last year Nestlé announced a partnership between Carnation and the Food Network, where it tapped into the nostalgia of favourite childhood desserts, showcasing Carnation as a key ingredient in family recipes.
