According to a listing on Companies House dated 1 October 2025 a Notice of Special Resolution revealed “that the company would be wound up voluntarily".
Quantuma Advisory Limited were appointed as liquidators to the business, which according to documents, commenced winding-up on 25th September 2025.
On the same date the Registered office address changed from The Hangars Harbury Lane Leamington Spa Warwickshire CV33 9SA to the address of Quantuma Advisory Limited, Office D Beresford House Town Quay Southampton SO14 2AQ.
According to The Gazette, a petition was presented on 11 August 2025 by the Commissioners for HM Revenue and Customs claiming to be creditors of the Company.
Currently, the only active directors of the Joe Delucci’s Ltd on Companies House is Richard James Pierce. While a person with significant control (75% of shares) is registered as Alexandra Beer.
Joe Delucci’s, which supplies ice cream to various supermarkets across the UK and has a number of retail parlours in shopping malls, has had a number of administrations over the last few years.
In March 2022 the company entered liquidation, just over four years after it was rescued from administration. At the time, members of the business resolved that the business would be wound-up voluntarily.
In January 2018, the Warwickshire-based company was purchased by a group of investors led by the firm’s former operations manager, Alexandra Beer.
The company had fallen into administration after the company’s original efforts to agree a Company Voluntary Arrangement failed when it did not gain support of the sufficient number of creditors.
Food Manufacture has made repeated efforts to contact the administrators and is waiting for a response and further details.
The latest official statistics for August 2025 from the Government showed that of the top six industries facing the highest number of insolvencies manufacturing (1,959) and accommodation and food service activities (3,371) were on the list.
