The independent cider maker has launched a ‘Caramelised Apple Cider’ SKU, which it describes as “bewitchingly smooth, buttery and sweet”.
The cider is 3.4% ABV and sold in 500ml bottles, with bottles available now via the Pulp Cider website and through selected independent stockists. It has a UK RRP of £2.79-£2.99 and will be available for a limited time this autumn.
“At Pulp, we’re all about fun and playfulness, and we simply couldn’t resist releasing this tasty limited edition flavour for Halloween,” said Susan Vaughan, director at Pulp Cider."
“Autumn is simply bursting with flavourful opportunities and we hope Pulp fans and cider drinkers alike enjoy tasting this nightmarish nectar.”
Every cider crafted by the team at Pulp Cider is manufactured in its entirety within five miles of the family farm in Herefordshire, where seven generations of farming experience is “poured into every bottle”.
Pulp Cider is home to 200 acres of commercial apple cider orchards, while it is one of the UK’s largest self-sustaining single estate cider producers.
The team grows eight cider apple varieties, that are all cared for on the family farm, and bottled by sister company Marches Packaging and Bottling. Only the cider apples grown on the family farm are used in Pulp Cider releases which are made with a small-batch, craft cider approach.
Food Manufacture recently rounded up a variety of launches announced in advance of Halloween.
This includes spooky wines from 19 Crimes, a revamped Hames Halloween chocolate range and seasonal loaves from Soreen.
