UK pizza brand Crosta Mollica has been renewed as the main sponsor of the Venezia FC women’s first team for the 2025/26 season.

This is the second season that Crosta Mollica has sponsored the team, which is making its debut in Serie B this season.

The new kit, created in collaboration with NOCTA, shares the same design as the one worn by the men’s first team and features the Crosta Mollica logo on the front of the jersey.

“We are extremely pleased to renew our collaboration with Crosta Mollica,” said Grazia Trentin, director of Venezia FC women.

“Having by our side an international brand that has chosen to continuously support the Venezia FC Women’s project is an important signal of the seriousness and value of the path we are building. We share the same determination, the same passion, and the same courage: elements that will guide us in achieving new milestones, contributing to the growth and promotion of women’s football.”

Crosta Mollica marketing director Dean Lavender added that the brand was delighted to be continuing in its support of the Venezia FC women’s side.

“This club uniquely represents the fusion of tradition and modern vision, perfectly in tune with our brand’s approach,” Lavender continued.

“Our award-winning sourdough pizzas are crafted in North-Eastern Italy, a region with which we share a deep and authentic bond. It is an honour to continue sharing our journey with Venezia FC Women and with its fans.”

Founded in 2009, Crosta Mollica manufactures a range of Neapolitan-style pizzas that are listed by major grocery retailers in the UK, Netherlands, France and Germany.

In August, the brand launched a new chilled pizza range under the name Collezione Romana, with each of the three pizzas included featuring a larger 32cm base.

Meanwhile, executive chair at Crosta Mollica, David Milner, recently told Food Manufacture why dining at home is growing in popularity as shoppers seek out premium options on the supermarket shelves.
