From mid-September, shoppers will be able to purchase packs of ‘THIS™ isn’t Beef Pastrami’, ‘THIS™ Is Super Veg Protein Bites’ and ‘THIS™ Is Super Superfood Breaded Pieces’.
First up, THIS™ isn’t Beef Pastrami is a new, ready-to-eat, chilled product that is both high in protein and a source of fibre. Priced at £2.95 per 70g pack, this new SKU is available from today (15 September) in Morrisons and goes live in Sainsbury’s from 28 September.
Next, THIS™ Is Super Veg Protein Bites is a frozen SKU that are high in protein, a source of fibre, and low in saturated fat. These ready-to-cook bites are priced at £3.50 per 240g pack and will be available in the frozen aisle at Tesco from today.
Finally, THIS is expanding its superfood range with the launch of THIS™ Is Super Superfood Breaded Pieces. Made from shiitake mushrooms and broad bean protein, the pieces are naturally high in iron, Omega 3, protein and fibre and contain 100% natural ingredients.
The product is priced at £3.95 per 180g pack is available in the chilled aisle at Sainsbury’s from today.
Commenting on the launches, THIS chief executive Mark Cuddigan said: “Our goal has always been to create delicious and nutritious plant-based products, and with our new Pastrami, Super Veg bites and breaded Super Superfood, we’re giving foodies new options. We can’t wait for people to try them, whether they’re looking for meaty alternatives or tasty veg-packed products to cook with.”
THIS unveiled its high protein superfood range earlier this year, with the launch of ‘THIS is Super Superfood Super Block (250g)’ and the ‘THIS is Super Superfood Marinated Pieces (180g)‘.
Speaking at the time, Cuddigan explained: “The plant-based category is evolving, and THIS is Super Superfood offers consumers something new – a product and format that is high in protein and also delivers a delicious, versatile, and nutritious option."
