From August 2025, Quorn is rolling out updated packs of its mince and pieces SKUs with the claim ‘high protein with no artificial ingredients’.
The ‘Quorn Mince’ range is available in 300g and 500g packs and now contains just four ingredients, while the ‘Quorn Pieces’ is also available in 300g and 500g packs and contains three ingredients.
In addition to the recipe changes, the ranges will feature a new packaging design which also feature claims relating to fibre and saturated fat content as well as cooking time.
The ‘Quorn Swedish Style Balls’ SKU will also join the no artificial ingredients range this year, alongside Quorn Strips which have always contained no artificial ingredients. More no artificial ingredient launches will follow in 2026.
“The [meat free] category is evolving – 53% of UK consumers say healthy nutrition has become more important to them in the last five years, and some shoppers are increasingly conscious of the ingredients in their favourite foods,” said Lucy Grogut, head of brands at Quorn Foods UK.
“Our high protein with no artificial ingredients range will positively influence that conversation. We’ve got 40 years of food science behind us – and this is our most simple and nutritious range yet.”
Grogut added that new claims were aimed at “cutting through the confusing noise” around meat free products with a more positive narrative.
“We have always said that the nutritional benefit of a food remains the most important factor in whether a product is healthy or not, and we have extensive evidence on all our products to support their place in our range,” she explained.
“Quorn’s new range provides a range of planet-friendly, simple ingredient products that deliver easy, tasty and nutritious swaps for the meals you know and love.”
The launch will be backed by a major campaign that is launching in October.
