Lidl has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The retailer has also issued a point-of-sale notice to all stores that sell the product.
Anyone that has bought the product and has an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents has been advised not to eat it. Instead, they should return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your cooperation,” Lidl said.
