The successful candidate be responsible for engineering activities and standards, while working closely with the firm’s other functions and leading by example.

This includes driving health and safety best practice onsite, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures for both employees and contractors.

Applicants will also need to be able to manage and resolve factory breakdowns as required, acting at pace to give resolution to any issues and communicate clearly to the site team.

Essential requirements include a degree and an engineering qualification with an electrical bias.

Product Technologist – SGS Ltd

Location: Deeside

Salary: up to £40,000

This role is focused on driving the assurance of consistent product quality while upholding the ongoing processes to make sure that standards are met.

The successful candidate will be required to lead and manage the entire end to end processes of negotiating and agreeing Quality Attributes Specifications (QAS) and agreeing standards for depot quality checks.

They will also need to ensure that all products have QAS completed, approved and active in line with all critical path timings.
