A batch of ‘12 Frozen Uncooked Vanilla Crème Crowns’ topped with hazelnuts is being recalled by Woodstock Foods because the presence of hazelnuts is not mentioned on the list of ingredients.
This means the product poses a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to hazelnuts.
The recall is related to 12-packs of 50g Vanilla Crème Crowns with the batch code 224934 and a best before date of January 2026. The recall is specific to England and Wales.
Woodstock Foods has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, while point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that sell this product. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and urge anyone with an allergy to hazelnuts not to eat the product and to return it for a full refund.
Customers can also contact Woodstock Foods directly for more information.

The 14 allergens are celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites and tree nuts (including hazelnuts).
