The four new sauce SKUs will be exclusively available to purchase in Sainsbury’s stores from 28 July.
Inspired by the favourites from Leon’s chain of restaurants, each sauce has “been carefully crafted to deliver maximum taste with minimum fuss”.
The new sauces include a Garlic Lemon Mayo (RRP £2.95), Honey Mustard Mayo (RRP £2.95), Hot Honey Sriracha (RRP £2.85) and Korean-Style Gochujang Mayo (RRP £2.95).
“Whether drizzled, dolloped or dunked, they’re designed to elevate everything from midweek meals to late-night fridge raids,” Leon Grocery said about the new range.
“The range reflects LEON’s Naturally Fast Food philosophy – quick, convenient, full of flavour, and made with ingredients you can feel good about. From the citrusy burst of Garlic Mayo to the unapologetic punch of Korean-Style Gochujang Mayo, this line-up brings culinary creativity straight to your kitchen counter.”
Leon Grocery has also announced that is keeping its vegan Garlic Aioli on shelves moving forward.
In addition to Sainsbury’s and Ocado, Leon Grocery products are also stocked by Morrisons and Asda. The brand’s range includes ready meals, frozen products, sauces and ketchups and coffee.
Established in 2004, Leon was co-founded by food campaigner Henry Dimbleby and is currently owned by Asda. As of December 2023, it had around 80 restaurant sites in the UK.
Last year, Dimbleby launched a new investment firm designed to fund companies working to improve the global food system.
Dimbleby, who authored the government-commissioned National Food Strategy in 2021, said that Bramble Partners will support businesses with a stated goal of creating healthier or more sustainable food.
