Assistant Production Manager – Highland Game Ltd

Location: Dundee City

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Highland Game Ltd is a wild game processor that is looking to a hire an assistant production manager to enhance its factory management team.

Working closely with the quality, sales and maintenance departments, the assistant production manager is a hands-on role, with core hours 12:00 to 20:00 from Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will oversee all operational activities, as well as the timely and accurate production of orders while ensuring accurate recording of all traceability and quantities. They will also need to control raw material, packaging and end product stocks to minimise wastage and reduce costs.

Applicants should ideally be graduates with experience in production supervision or management within the food industry. Experience in continuous improvement would be beneficial, while strong communication skills at all levels are necessary.

Quality Assurance Officer – Rhokett Ltd

Location: Hawkhurst, Cranbrook

Salary: £27,000 to £29,000

Rhokett Ltd is looking to fill a vacancy for a quality assurance officer within its busy technical department.

Reporting to the technical manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that product safety, quality and legality is maintained, in order to meet demanding customer requirements.

Responsibilities include checking finished products against technical specifications, maintaining hygiene levels across the factory premises and ensuring daily paperwork is completed within the factory.

Hygiene Manager – Little Moons

Location: Park Royal, London

Salary: Competitive

Little Moons is hiring a hygiene manager to join its team in north west London.

The successful applicant will be at the forefront of maintaining the highest hygiene and GMP standards, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and in full compliance with health and safety and FSQ regulations.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing the site’s hygiene strategy in alignment with the wider technical strategy, in addition to leading and managing the site’s hygiene team, to make sure that standards are maintained across a 24-hour operation.

Head Baker – The Felix Project

Location: Acton, London

Salary: £35,000 to £38,000

Food redistribution charity The Felix Project is hiring a head baker to join the new Felix Bakes operation with the support of the wider Felix production teams and west London depot operations team.

The successful applicant will be the manager of the bakery site and have overall responsibility for its day-to-day running. This is a hands-on role with most of the working day spent in the kitchen and running the bakery unit, working initially as the only permanent employee.

Responsibilities will include volunteer and staff management, support in the creation of health and safety and hygiene plans and coordination with internal stakeholders to maximise the output and impact of the unit.

Previous experience and knowledge within baking is essential, while The Felix Project is looking for someone to grow into the role and help develop the new operation.

Line Technician – Dairygold Food Ingredients Ltd

Location: Crewe, Cheshire

Salary: £34,569 to £37,590 plus 5% bonus

Dairygold Food Ingredients Ltd is hiring a line technician and relief line technician to join its team in Crewe.

The roles will involve operating production equipment efficiently and safely, carrying out quality checks and sample collection in line with company quality procedures and recording production data as required to ensure accurate raw material traceability records.

The successful candidate will also need to liaise with the production and engineering management teams in case of machinery breakdown, while also ensuring that all packaging information is accurate and in line with the customer specification.
