The brand, which is owned by Geary’s Bakery, is launching the new Creations range in addition to Jason’s Everyday Seeded Protein Rolls.
The Creations range includes two flavours – Fruit Loaf and Olive & Basil – while the protein rolls contain 14g of protein a piece.
Now available in 300 Tesco stores across the UK, the new launches come in response to the growing demand for Jason’s Sourdough products.
The brand’s products are sold in 4,000 stores nationwide, while it has achieved 107% value growth in the past 12 months.
“Expanding our range is a natural step as the brand continues to grow,” commented Jason Geary, Master Baker at Geary’s Bakery.
“As the category evolves, we’re committed to developing products that respond to changing consumer preferences and offer great choice for different consumption occasions while maintaining the quality, craft and simplicity that defines our brand. These two new ranges show the versatility of our Sourdough – it’s about combining innovation with tradition, whilst maintaining exceptional quality.”
The news comes just a few days after it was announced that the firm has opened a new £36 million custom-built bakery in Leicester.
This is the third facility in the Geary’s Bakery portfolio, and once fully up and running will create 380 new jobs, with the firm’s total headcount set to hit 950 employees by the end of this year.
Commenting on the new facility, Geary said: “The demand for Jason’s Sourdough and real artisanal bread continues to grow, and we are constantly inspired by how much people love our bread.
“This new site enables us to get our products into more stores and in more homes – while staying true to the quality and craft that set us apart.”
