Gosh! has expanded its ‘Street Food’ range with the addition of two new SKUs.

The new ‘Aloo Tikki Bites’ and ‘Katsu Bites’ are now available in Tesco stores nationwide, while they are coming soon Ocado.

Sold in 171g packs, both products retail at £2.60 per unit.

Made from 100% natural ingredients, the bites are “packed full of veg” and target the weekday dinner and social gathering occasions, both part of the plant-based convenience category.

The Indian-inspired Aloo Tikki Bites are made from a blend of potato, green lentils and aromatic spices, while the Japanese-inspired Katsu Bites include chickpeas, butternut squash, coconut and spices.

“At Gosh! we are delighted to be expanding our popular Street Food range with our new bites, helping people discover a world of flavour,” said Gosh! marketing director Caroline Hughes.

“Made from 100% natural ingredients and packed with veg, these delicious bites will also help consumers hit their weekly plant point target without compromising on taste.”

The packaging for the new range will include the brand’s newly introduced plant points system, which designates each product a certain number of points based on the amount of different portions of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, legumes or seeds they contain.

The system already features on the Gosh! core range of falafels and snacking products.

“At Gosh!, we believe eating more plants should be simple, delicious and make you feel good,” Hughes explained.

“This is why we’re championing ‘plant points’, helping consumers to easily add goodness to their plates.”

Gosh! products are manufactured at the firm’s site in Milton Keynes, with its core range now available in most major UK supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Lidl, Morrisons and Asda. Its entire range is plant-based and every product is certified by the Vegan Society’s accreditation system.

In related news, fellow plant-based brands Happiee and THIS both announced the launch of NPD this month.
