Samuel Rodriguez and Mimi Phillips join the team as head chef and freelance development chef respectively.
Rodriguez now leads the in-house team at Planty after spending three years at Allplants, driving the production of more meals, exploring new recipes and maintaining quality across the entire range.

Pivotal role
Phillips brings more than eight years food industry experience to her new role as freelance development chef. During her four years with Allplants, Phillips played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s offerings.
Despite having only joined the business this month, she has already crafted three new Planty meals.
Commenting on her appointment, Phillips said: “I’m excited to be working with Planty and bringing my plant-based experience to create some new, delicious and nutritious meals.”
Launched in 2019, Planty offers chef-prepared, plat-based meals that are delivered direct to consumer.
Depth of experience

Meanwhile, last month saw Nestlé appoint Stefano Bolognese as the managing director for Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages UK.
In his new role, Bolognese will join the Nestlé UK & Ireland leadership team and oversee the Waters business, whose brands include Princes Gate, Nestlé Pure Life and the Sanpellegrino Italian sparkling drinks range.
