Lidl GB will display point of sale notices in all stores that sell the product which will explain why it is being recalled.
“If you have bought the above product, we advise you do not eat it,” the notices read.
“Customers are asked to return this product to the nearest store where a full refund will be given. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your cooperation.”
Meanwhile, 3D Trading is recalling 150g packs of ‘Ruffles Sabor a Jamόn Crisps’ because the allergen information is not listed in English on the label.
The product contains both milk and soya but this is not communicated to English speaking consumers which means it poses a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/or an allergy to soya.
As a result packs with all date codes are being recalled by 3D Trading, an import company based in Northern Ireland.
Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that sell this product. Meanwhile, anyone with an allergy or intolerance to either milk or soya that has purchased the crisps has been been advised to return them for a full refund.
