Sauces and marinades manufacturer Karimix is on the hunt for a NPD manager to join its team in Faversham, Kent on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant will be tasked with bringing concepts from kitchen trials to full-scale production, blending culinary expertise with the technical demands of manufacturing.
Key duties include recipe preparation, supporting the sales and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met, whilst maintaining consistency in product quality.
Other responsibilities include developing and documenting clear recipe instructions to support the production processes, staying ahead with market trends through market research and competitor analysis, and providing hands on support to the production team in the factory when required.
Applicants will need to have at least two years of experience as an NPD manager or equivalent in a manufacturing environment and proven experience of taking concept kitchen samples to full scale production.

H F Produce is looking to hire a new head of production in charge of vegetable processing at its site in Torpoint, Cornwall.
A newly created role for the business, the head of production – vegetable processing will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of staff – currently around 25 people – to implement safe and economical production of H F Produce’s products.
This role will be based in and around the production facility and will involve a mix of both ‘hands on’ and desk-based activity, working between 6.45am to 4pm with some flexibility according to workload.
You will be expected to liaison with customers to ensure their needs are met on time, and to ensure that production equipment is maintained in good working order.
The ideal candidate will have previous people management experience. A vegetable or food production background would be an advantage as would an understanding of production line systems and their maintenance.
However, previous experience this would not be a barrier for the right individual with the right attributes. Above all, enthusiasm, flexibility and proven team working are key.

The electrical maintenance engineer is responsible for the first level escalation of breakdowns within the factory.
You will work as part of the shift engineering team to ensure breakdowns are fixed promptly in line with priorities. The breakdowns include mechanical, electrical and controls.
As maintenance engineer, you will also be responsible for the completion of preventative works orders.
The ideal candidate will have a recognised engineering apprenticeship qualification – a level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent is beneficial.
Other appropriate experience or qualifications in a related field of manufacturing is advantageous. Experience within a high-volume manufacturing maintenance environment is seen as an asset.
You will also need Strong general electrical and/or mechanical engineering skills and knowledge, as well as an awareness of HACCP, PUWER, LOLA and COSHH.
