Iceland Foods is recalling two batches of a vegetable lasagne product because they may contain pieces of plastic.

Packs of ‘Iceland Vegetable Lasagne’ (400g) with a best before of 23 July 2026 or 30 July 2026 are being recalled and have been classified as unsafe to eat because of the potential presence of plastic.

To alert consumers, Iceland Foods has distributed recall notices to all stores where the impacted batches are sold which explain why they are being recalled.

Customers who have purchased a lasagne that may contain plastic have been advised to return the item to an Iceland store for a full refund.

“Only the best before date codes listed are affected,” Iceland said.

“Check If you have bought any of the affected product. You can do this by taking a photo of this notice or writing down the details at home.

“Please return to any Iceland store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.”
