Higgidy is marking the arrival of warmer weather and ‘relaxed spring lunch occasions’ with the launch of a six-inch sharing Tuscan-Inspired Red Pepper & Marinated Tomato Quiche with Roasted Aubergine (400g).
The new sharing quiche has a seeded shortcrust pastry filled with red peppers, marinated tomatoes, roasted aubergine purée and basil in a free-range egg filling, topped with roasted red peppers, Cheddar cheese and pumpkin seeds.
New additions
Joining the Tuscan-Inspired quiche will be the new Mature Cheddar & Crispy Chilli Oil Little Quiche with Spring Onions (155g), featuring a seeded spelt shortcrust pastry and topped with Red Leicester cheese, chilli oil and crispy onions.

Higgidy have also developed its popular Tomato and feta Quiche, now the Whipped Greek Feta & Roasted Tomato Quiche with Spinach. The quiche features a combination of Greek Feta, ricotta, tomato paste and free-range egg filling, topped with roasted cherry tomatoes and crumbled Greek Feta.
The six-inch Tuscan-Inspired and Whipped Greek Feta quiches join Higgidy’s existing quiche range, rubbing shoulders with the likes of its Garlic-Roasted Broccoli & Vintage Cheddar Quiche, Spinach, Greek Feta & Roasted Red Pepper Quiche, Beechwood Smoked Bacon & Mature Cheddar Quiche.
Little quiches
Higgidy’s new Little Quiche will sit alongside four existing Little Quiches: Smoked Salmon & Spinach Quiche, Roasted Tomato & Greek Feta Quiche, Smoked Ham Hock & Mature Cheddar Quiche, and the plant-based Porcini Mushroom & Spinach Quiche.
The Higgidy Mediterranean Pepper & Tomato Quiche with Smoky Roasted Aubergine Quiche will be available at Tesco from 7th April, Sainsbury’s from 9thApril and Waitrose and Ocado from 23rd April, RRP £4.60.
Meanwhile, the Higgidy Crispy Chilli Oil & Mature Cheddar Little Quiche with Spring Onions will be available at Ocado from 23rd April and at Waitrose, Tesco and Booths from 30th April, RRP £3.
