Cook joined the Co-op owned brand earlier this month after more than 11 years at Morrisons, where her most recent role was as the head of convenience projects.
At Nisa, Cook will spearhead the implementation and mobilisation of corporate customer projects while sitting as part of Katie Secretan’s retail and sales leadership team.
At Morrisons, she was responsible for the transformation and delivery of the retailer’s wholesale programme during which time she developed and implemented new business routes for growth.
Prior to that, Cook held positions such as wholesale senior operations manager, where she oversaw the programme management of the franchise plan, and also led on new store acquisitions. She is also the commercial and finance director at Shrewsbury Town Women Football Club.
“We’re at a pivotal moment for our Co-op’s wholesale business, with ambitious growth targets in place, and Brogan’s proven track record in convenience and franchise operations, as well as her strategic leadership will be invaluable as we continue to deliver growth with our partners,” said Secretan, director of sales and retail at Nisa.
The appointment is also part of Nisa’s focus on “bringing the best of Co-op” to its operations, with Cook’s background in retail programme management making her well-placed to lead the retailer’s delivery plans and ensure their successful execution across multiple sites.
“I’m excited to be joining Nisa as Delivery Lead during such a dynamic period for the business,” she said.
“I look forward to applying my experience to lead the delivery of new business within the convenience channel, ensuring we deliver a best-in-class service for our retail partners across the UK.”
At Nisa, Cook joins a recently strengthened sales and retail leadership team, which includes Taranjit Singh Dhillon as head of retail, Ian King as head of business development, Lauren Brogden as head of sales engagement, Paul Webster as head of partnerships and Joy McAleese as head of wholesale.
