Joe & Seph’s launches ‘love it or hate it’ popcorn

Popcorn manufacturer Joe & Seph’s has partnered with Marmite to the produce the “ultimate love it or hate it” snack.

The brand new ‘Marmite Popcorn Slab’ is available now via the Joe & Seph’s website at £8 a pop, while pouches of the brand’s classic Marmite-flavoured popcorn can still be purchased for £4.

The popcorn slab features extra-large pieces of popcorn, coated in Joe & Seph’s buttery caramel and a hit of tangy Marmite, and drizzled with Belgian milk chocolate.

“We love having fun and causing a stir with flavour combinations, and what better way to do it than with a product as divisive as Marmite,” said Adam Sopher, founder of Joe & Seph’s.

“Our Marmite Popcorn Slab is perfect for Marmite enthusiasts who want to gift something truly unique and delicious—or even keep it all to themselves!”

Aqua Libra adds new SKU to range

Soft drink brand Aqua Libra has added a watermelon and strawberry flavoured SKU to its range of sparkling water cans.

Available now across the grocery channel, this new addition was designed to meet the growing demand for watermelon and strawberry among consumers.

Free from sugar, calories and preservatives, Aqua Libra’s latest infused sparkling water SKU is sold in multipacks of four and 24.

The Carlsberg Britvic owned brand’s current range features flavours such as raspberry and blackcurrant, blood orange and mango, and cucumber, mint and lime.

“Aqua Libra is now valued at £7.4m in sales and growing at an impressive 66% year on year, making it the fastest-growing infused sparkling water brand in the UK,” said Ben Parker, Carlsberg Britvic’s retail commercial director.

“We are always looking for ways to provide our retail partners with high-quality, in-demand products that help drive footfall and increase sales. We’re confident that the Watermelon & Strawberry flavour will resonate with health-conscious consumers, providing retailers the chance to appeal to even more shoppers.”

CCEP announces three new Fanta flavours

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is adding three new flavours to Fanta’s zero sugar line-up.

Fanta Zero Apple and Fanta Zero Raspberry will be available in grocery stores from 24 February, while the limited-edition Fanta Tutti Frutti Zero Sugar is set to go on sale from mid-March.

Set to be sold in 330ml cans, as well as 500ml and 2L bottles, the launches will be supported by a multi-million-pound marketing campaign, including influencer partnerships, OOH advertising, social media and events.

“We’re excited to be expanding our core Fanta zero sugar range with the introduction of tangy Fanta Zero Apple and sweet Fanta Zero Raspberry which will cater to consumers’ growing appetite for apple and raspberry flavours,” said Rob Yeomans, vice-president for commercial development at CCEP GB.

“Our limited-edition Tutti Frutti Zero Sugar is like a carnival in a can, boasting a vibrant design that catches the eye and offering a nostalgic flavour. Limited editions are a great way to engage new shoppers, getting people excited and talking about the Fanta brand, while helping our customers drive sales.”

The Delicious Desserts Company goes fruity with Valentine’s launch

To mark this Valentine’s Day, The Delicious Desserts Company has created a new treat which is available now at Tesco stores across the UK.

The ‘Love you Straw Berry Much Éclair’ is a limited edition choux pastry filled with strawberry crème pâtissiere and cream, while it is topped with strawberry fondant and white chocolate lacing.

Delicious Desserts Company has experimented with strawberry flavours in the past and said that it decided on the ‘Love you Straw Berry Much Éclair’ based on popular demand.

“We love making sweet treats that we like to enjoy for those special occasions,” said Claire Smith, head of insight at The Delicious Dessert Company.

“As with all our ranges, our aim is to bring a bit of fun and indulgence into our products The Delicious Dessert Company are back with something fruity and. If desserts be the food of love - then play on!”

Walker’s creates special Valentine’s gift bag

Historic shortbread manufacturer Walker’s has also launched a special treat just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The ‘Shortbread Valentine’s Gift Bag’, available for £30 via the Walker’s website now, is a limited edition bundle that contains a carefully curated selection of Walker’s bestselling and most-loved shortbread products.

Items on the menu include a 250g shortbread assortment carton, a 110g Scottie dog shortbread carton, a 175g chocolate chip shortbread carton, a 125g mini shortbread fingers packet and two packs of 11g mini shortbread rounds.

The Gift Bag also contains a jar to store leftover shortbread and keep it fresh for next times.

“Whether you’re sharing with someone special or enjoying a treat for yourself, the Walker’s Valentine’s Day Gift Bag offers the perfect way to express your love and appreciation during the season of romance,” said a spokesperson for Walker’s.
