The office has been designed to keep the UK and Ireland team connected with their international colleagues and trade partners across the world.
It features conference areas, breakout pods and multiple meeting rooms, as well as a temperature-controlled storage space to house Ritter’s chocolates.
Since launching in the UK and Ireland in 2014, Ritter Sport has driven incremental category value with major supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Morrisons, Asda and Tesco, while increasing revenue by 20 times.
Ritter Sport UK & Ireland managing director Benedict Daniels described the opening as a proud moment for the business.
“Opening this incredible new space is a proud moment for us all,” he said.
“It reflects our commitment to the UK market and our ambition to continue growing here. With a talented team, exciting product innovations, and the full backing of the Ritter family, I am convinced we will continue our success into 2025 and beyond.”
Ritter Sport is part of the family-owned Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co, which is headquartered in Waldenbuch, Germany.
The firm employs around 1,650 people and has a presence in 100 countries around the world.
It also owns a cocoa farm in Nicaragua where it grows much of what is used to make its chocolate. The 2,500-hectare farm employs 350 people and is home to one million cocoa trees.
