The acquisition will allow Pooch & Mutt to leverage BIOME9’s expertise in the world of dog gut health, aligning with the manufacturers mission to provide pets with that they ‘genuinely’ need while strengthening the company’s position in the pet nutrition space.
BIOME9’s team and operations will integrate into Pooch & Mutt while maintaining ‘continued excellence and innovation in pet nutrition’. The company will continue innovating in pet gut health science to enhance pet well-being.

Founded in 2023 by James Cox – founder of consumer specialist Stonebridge (Simba Sleep, Revolut, Castore, Townhouse etc – BIOME9 provides a gut health check service and supplement plans. BIOME9 deep-dives into dogs’ microbiomes, identifies gaps and offers personalised support strategies to combat the effects of modern lifestyles.
