Assisi Pet Care buys Pet Munchies
Assisi Pet Care, which was founded in 2020 by Peter Mangion in partnership with Harwood Capital Management, own brands Hollings and Hi-Life in its UK portfolio as well as the Maced brand in Poland.
The pet food market is worth £3.2bn a year in the UK, according to data from Pet Food Manufacturers Association.
Earlier this year Cranswick acquired Grove Pet Foods, breaking into pet food processing as it continues its mission to diversify its protein portfolio.
Natural positioning
Assisi Pet Care said that the acquisition of Pet Munchies, which was founded by Suzanne Rothman, perfectly complements the natural positioning of all its brands whilst broadening the company’s reach into new distribution channels.
