The Turmeric Co. to expand with new HQ and production site
The 1,858m2 site for the brand, which produces natural raw turmeric shots, will boast a new HQ including a research and development laboratory, as well as production and packing facilities.
The company said the multi-functional site will allow the health brand to take its next steps towards internationalisation into Europe and beyond. It has also revealed it has 10 fresh products scheduled to be released over the next 24 months and has forecast 30 new jobs over the next 36 months.

“We are delighted for this exciting new chapter and look forward to connecting with the community as we move operations to Chatteris. The move aligns with how we want to scale as a brand and essentially will allow us to implement our sustainability efforts in-house,” said Thomas Robson-Kanu, chief executive of The Turmeric Co and an international footballer.
“Progressively employing new staff from across the region is an integral part of our growth, and we look forward to welcoming local talent into our team.”
The Turmeric Co. was supported in its expansion by Growth Works and Fenland District Council who provided access to grant funding, recruitment and business support opportunities. They also helped the company to partner with other organisations regarding Intellectual Property protection, energy conservation, new product development support and smart manufacturing.

Earlier this year, The Turmeric Co revealed that is had been certified as carbon neutral. To maintain its carbon neutral status, the company, said it would be supporting the biomass ‘Fossil-fuel phase-out in a coal paradise’ project, in Colombia, which generates renewable energy from natural sources such as coconut shells, sugar cane residue and wood chips.
