Food brand Helen Browning’s has launched a new range of slow-cooked organic pork products.

Billed as the first slow-cooked organic pork meals to land on supermarket shelves/in online stores, they are designed to be a premium offering for the ready meal chilled food section.

Wiltshire-based Helen Browning’s has worked with other farmers across the south of England to produce organic British pork – slow-cooked with a variety of flavours which infuse over 12 hours, giving deeper taste results than with virtually any other method.

The range includes six variants that are currently stocked in Abel & Cole and Whole Foods Market: Cider, Apples & Thyme Pork Belly; Honey, Roasted Garlic, Star Anise & Fennel Pork Belly; BBQ Spiced Pulled Pork; Harissa Pulled Pork; Sweet Chilli Pulled Pork; and Turmeric, Ginger, Five Spice & Honey Pulled Pork.

Claire Bailey of Helen Browning’s Organic, said: “We are so excited about this new product development, we feel this new range fills a huge hole in the current popular, slow-cooked food market.  We’re delighted that Abel & Cole & Whole Foods Market are supporting the launch and are stocking these new products from today.  We’ve worked really hard with Stephen and Tom at [sous vide meat specialist] Grubworkz to develop these new products and hope it’s the start of a great new working relationship.”
