Quorn uses 'Integration as a Service' system to manage supply chain

Meat-free protein manufacturer Quorn has adopted a new software system service to manage its complex supply chain and exports to 19 different countries.

Quorn needed a new system to ensure it could meet its logistics needs, including maintaining stock levels and meeting large delivery demands on time. Its on-premise electronic data interchange (EDI) system was unable to meet its future plans.

It wanted to outsource the management of EDI integration to decrease the number of support calls reported to its IT department.

The company turned to logistics software supplier BluJay Solutions’ MessageBroker service. This allows it to outsource the complex task of supply chain integration, including set-up, handling enquiries, and managing its trading partners.

MessageBroker is a fully-managed, enterprise ‘Integration as a Service’ system. It delivers a communications, transformation, and trading partner management service that automates e-commerce. It also connects any systems and businesses using all standard message formats, says BluJay.
