A vibratory motion blending system to accurately mix multiple dry or wet products has been introduced by tna.

The roflo 3 is said to combine speed, continuous vertical motion and mass flow technology to deliver good blend accuracy, precise recipe control and reduced ingredient costs.

The system can blend a wide range of products, including baked and fried snacks, nuts and dried fruits, pasta, cereals and gummies, but is also claimed to be suitable for mixing fresh and frozen products, such as salads or frozen vegetables.

It incorporates the company’s weighing technology, which includes an integrated load cell. Each integrated ingredient input module (IIM) of the roflo 3 features a compact design, comprising an infeed conveyor with hopper, control conveyor and weigh conveyor, offering a small factory footprint. Depending on the individual requirements of their recipes, manufacturers can combine up to 22 IIMs, all of which are centrally controlled.

The system’s hygienic washdown design with a stainless-steel construction, no wearing parts and a mobile hopper is also said to facilitate cleaning, reduce maintenance and ensure good equipment reliability.

The system is suitable for a variety of infeed methods, including manual, bulk or directly connected to the processing line.
