Kettyle Irish food partners with Guinness for new burger
Northern Irish meat processor Kettyle Irish Foods has joined forces with Guinness to introduce a premium beef burger.

The innovative patty will be available for selected retailers and hospitality outlets across Ireland and other parts of Europe. The burgers are available in two-, four-, eight- and 20-packs, both fresh and frozen.

"Our courtship with Guinness has been a lengthy one but we've enjoyed every step and are so delighted to be celebrating this union," said Maurice Kettyle, founder and managing director of Kettyle Irish Foods.

Based in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh, Kettyle Irish Foods is part of Fane Valley Group - Northern Ireland's biggest farming co-operative. The firm is a dry-aged beef specialist, as well as providing other premium meat products. The business was established in 2004 by Maurice Kettyle, now an experienced meat processor and marketer.

The firm has established itself internationally and has become a major supplier of beef and other meats to retailers and restaurants in parts of Europe, as well as the Middle East. It has been awarded with UK Great Taste Awards for its dry-aged steak products, including winning the accolade for its aged beef in the company's unique salt moss chamber.

The burger is the first in a series of products Kettyle and Guinness are planning. "We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with Guinness," added Kettyle.
