AVT has further developed its Machine Sentry condition monitoring system
The Machine Sentry condition monitoring (CM) system for rotating equipment from AVT Reliability has been further developed to enhance its condition-based maintenance (CBM) capability.

The system is said to be simple to use and includes an automatic fault diagnosis assistant that helps identify potential issues with rotating equipment.

It integrates all condition monitoring techniques and watchkeeping data into a CBM system to provide effective maintenance planning and reporting.

It comprises a modular internet hosted software suite, which integrates a range of CM techniques.

Its patent pending mobile sensor is a wireless, intelligent tri-axial vibration and temperature sensor that connects via a Bluetooth-enabled personal digital assistant (PDA) to the Machine Sentry software.

Laboratory oil analysis data is automatically mapped and integrated into the device's database. And an integrated fault diagnosis assistant warns of potential problems.
