Hand brush improves food cleaning access
A new hand brush has been introduced by hygienic cleaning supplies company Vikan, which is specifically designed for the food and drink industry.
The 250mm Hand Brush XL features Vikan’s Edge design and joins the rest of its range to produce a family of functional scrubbing brushes for the sector.
The brush is said to deliver improved efficacy. Its asymmetrical shape provides ‘two-in-one’ versatility, while the sharply angled filaments improve access to corners and crevices. Extra stiff filaments make it easier to remove stubborn particles.
The convex Edge design minimises surfaces where liquids can accumulate. Ideal for use on cutting and preparation tables, conveyor belts, cutting boards, buckets, large bowls and meat production equipment with hard to access corners, the brush meets all EU regulations for food contact.
