Better bread quality with new conveyor range

A modular range of conveyor belts for plant bakers has been extended by Ammeraal Beltech to enhance operational efficiency and improve bread quality.

The company's Uni-chain belts have been adapted to help reduce product damage, significantly improving cooling performance, and reducing moisture retention. The result is said to be higher-quality bread, less waste, and better food safety.

For curved and spiral conveyors, Ammeraal Beltech now offers new open-surface side-flexing belts in two sizes. The Uni Flex OSB and Uni Flex L-OSB both provide higher airflow to promote better cooling and help reduce moisture retention levels.

For straight conveyor lines used in both conveying and processing opreations, the company has also developed a new transfer conveyor system, which is specifically suited to smaller baked goods. The Uni NTB, a nano transfer belt, is designed for tight transfer points.
