Food packaging firm appoints new manager

Food and drink packaging firm Clondalkin Group has appointed Rob Moore as its new key account manager.

Moore will be responsible for managing the firm’s existing client base for both its Northampton and Great Harwood, Lancashire carton businesses.

He brings almost 30 years’ experience of working in the carton sector across Europe and the US, gained most recently at St Ives-based carton firm Beamglow.

Moore said: I’m excited to be joining a company that has manufacturing sites across the UK, Europe and US with such a diverse product portfolio.  I was very impressed with the group’s ambitious plans to drive the business forward.”

‘Ideal candidate’

Peter Richardson, UK sales director at Clondalkin said he was the ideal candidate for the role.

Clondalkin also appointed Mark Senior as business development manager for its specialist packaging division.

Along with Moore he will take the lead on new business development in the UK, Europe and the USA, in both existing and new market sectors.

Senior has 25 years’ experience of working in the packaging sector and 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

Clondalkin’s specialist packaging division has 24 production sites throughout North America and Europe and includes folding cartons, labels, leaflets, literature and inserts/outserts businesses, along with paper packaging and printing components.
