Scottish firm Harviestoun Brewery has appointed Toby Knowles as its new md, following Chris Miller’s decision to quit the business.

Knowles, who joined Harviestoun two years ago as director of sales, said he was relishing the opportunity to take the business in a new direction.

“There’s never been a more exciting time to take on this challenge,” he added. “I am looking forward to placing a stronger focus on building brand equity and carving out a place for us in the premium drinks category.”

Chris Seabrook

Chris Seabrook will take over as director of sales and operations at the Clackmannanshire-based business, effective May 19.

Seabrook will bring a raft of experience to the role, gained at Southcorp Wines, Lanson Champagnes and Carlsberg.

The firm claimed his appointment represented its commitment to providing first class service to the trade.

“I’m absolutely delighted to soon be joining the Harviestoun team,” added Seabrook. “The 30-year Harviestoun history has been built on passion, authenticity and total dedication to quality; and it’s this ethos and the many opportunities facing us as a team that I’m hugely excited about.”
