Bakkavor appoints new chief operating officer
Edwards, who has over 25 years’ experience in the food industry, will have overall management responsibility for the UK operations.
He first joined Bakkavor in 2001 and most recently was md of Bakkavor’s meals solutions business.

Meanwhile, Bakkavor also announced that Steve Broadbent has stood down as md of its convenience food business.
Broadbent joined Bakkavor in 1997 as a general manager and held various roles in manufacturing, general and senior management before taking his current position.
Before this, he held roles at Express Dairy and Northern Foods.
