Food Innovation Solutions (FIS) has appointed Carlos Diaz as its new food director in a bid to expand its culinary services to food businesses.

Diaz’s appointment comes after the food innovation agency experienced significant growth over the past year, both in Europe and internationally. He will operate alongside Celia Holt as in the role.

Diaz joins after 15 years at Marks & Spencer (M&S), most recently as the high street retailer’s product development manager.

Michelin Star environments

Before serving  at M&S he worked in Michelin Star hotels and restaurants both in the UK and Europe.

Mike Faers, md of FIS, said he was delighted to welcome Diaz to the company.

“Having worked together for many years I have witnessed the positive impact he has on businesses performance and have no doubt that his knowledge and passion for food will be a significant benefit to both our existing clients and new. FIS has challenging plans for growth and having colleagues of Carlos’s calibre will accelerate our growth.”
