Greencore's coo Di Walker will not be replaced once she departs
Greencore’s chief operating officer (coo) Di Walker is stepping down from her position as a director of the company on May 24, it was announced today (May 2).

The move follows her “instrumental role” in the significant changes to the company’s structure over the past 18 months, which have included the integration of the acquired businesses of Uniq and International Cuisine in the UK, the transformation of its business in the US and the establishment of a broader executive management team.

Walker’s responsibilities will be reallocated across the wider leadership team and the role of coo will not be replaced, Greencore said. She will remain with the company until the end of its financial year (September 2013) in order to ensure a seamless transition to this new management structure.

Greencore’s ceo Patrick Coveney said: “Di has made an enormous contribution to the company over many years. Her passion, resilience, tight cost focus and deep food industry experience have all been invaluable and we wish Di the best for her future endeavours.”
