Pidy's new Savoury Crumbles offer a range of toppings, coatings and sprinkles for customers seeking an alternative to the pastry lid

There are four varieties: Bacon, Parmesan, Fine Herbs and Cheddar. Each crumble can be processed using a microwave or conventional oven and can be served from the container onto hot or cold dishes. All four varieties have been fashioned to add colour, texture and taste to everyday dishes.

Savoury Crumbles can be added to a ready-to-fill quiche shell or as a replacement for breadcrumbs around a scotch egg, for example. The Mixed Herb Crumble can be used with stuffing to accompany meats or as a coating around a soft cheese

The product is presented in clear canisters with flip-top lids for easy dispensing of the contents. Labelled, with a picture of the key ingredient, the weight of the contents and other detail is all clearly marked.

The sprinkles are designed to add consumer appeal for almost any culinary application starter, main course, side dish or accompaniments.
