Two of industry's detection specialists: Loma Systems which focuses on the food sector and Lock Inspection, on pharmaceuticals, will debut their new collaboration at the Total show.

Specialising in metal detection, checkweighing and X-ray inspection systems for the food and pharma industries, their joint stand will display eight working systems, including the launch of Loma's new X4 X-ray and UK show debut of Lock's latest PH pharmaceutical detection system.

The new X4 X-ray system, which has been designed to match any line speed, will be displayed along with vertical fall, pipeline and throat detectors from the company.

New to the system, which automatically detects contaminants including metals, bone, glass, PVC, stone, rubber and flavour/sugar clumps, is advanced image processing software. This automatically calibrates for each product and sets the optimum power levels for quick set-up and changeover without operator aid. It ensures the best performance setting for each product, which is ideal for manufacturers with large and varied product ranges.

Visitors are invited to bring sample shelf-ready product to the stand where they can inspect their products and receive one-to-one advice and product training.
