Culina Logistics has appointed Steve Winwood as its new chief operating officer, as part of its strategy to drive business development and growth.

Winwood previously held the role of commercial director at the Shropshire-based firm for five-years. Before this he was director of Baylis Logistics for two-years, until the company was taken over by Culina.

Winwood will be responsible for the chilled and ambient divisions across all warehousing and transport functions.

‘Strategic leadership’

Dave Lowe has been promoted from his role as group commercial manager, to take over as commercial director, following five-years with the company.

Thomas van Mourik, Culina Group ceo, said: “These appointments strengthen our executive team and create an integrated and strategic leadership across our operations."
