Fox’s Biscuits appoints Müller man as managing director

Colin Smith, new md of Fox's Biscuits

Fox’s Biscuits has appointed Colin Smith as its new md, replacing Stewart Gilliand, who had been interim md since August.

Smith joins from Müller Dairy UK where he was previously commercial director since January 2012.

Smith was general manager for Müller Italia between 2010 – 12, and before that sales manager at the dairy producers since 2006.

Extensive experience

Smith has extensive experience within the sector following spells at Mars, Bulmers, Rank Hovis McDougall and beverage company AB InBev.

Ranjit Boparan, ceo of Fox’s Biscuits owner 2 Sisters Food Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Colin to Fox’s Biscuits and 2 Sisters Food Group, he joins with a strong track record of helping to grow companies in the food and consumer sector.”

Dear sir, my most favourite cookie as a child was cinnamon based. I absolutely adored them. I have heard that they are still made by your company but only sold in Canada.
