Packaging solutions firm TNA has developed a one-piece solution for wet and dry seasoning and flavouring: the TNA intelli-flav OMS 3c. It's designed to provide even coverage at throughput rates of 100-500 kg an hour.

Configured for on-machine seasoning, the equipment's spray capability enables the application of liquids, liquid flavours and slurries. In addition to dry powders, it can be used as a standalone seasoning system for small snack lines. It features two high-precision continuous spray guns, with a variety of nozzles for tailored seasoning, while the liquid itself is delivered by a closed-loop spray system, which ensures accuracy. For optimum control, every part of the seasoning process is independent and can be easily repeated and customised.

The new 17-flight drum gently turns the product without excessive lifting, which prevents damage and ensures all surfaces are exposed to the liquid spray and the extended 400mm powder curtain for even coverage.

Additional features include a vibratory in-feed conveyor and a re-designed spray lance.
