Eggcellent pasteurising filtration solution

Related tags Filters Steel Design

When its mesh filter media was collapsing under the pressure of pasteurising, Worcestershire-based egg product producer Bumble Hole Foods sought advice from filtration firm Axium Process.

Bumble Hole Foods invested in Axium Process's stainless steel Pure-Screen filter range because the filter is designed to withstand collapse pressures of two to six times the maximum operating pressure of the filter. It is ideally suited for final product filtration where both product smoothness and consistency is essential.

Axium's Pure-Screen filters are manufactured with a range of interchangeable stainless steel wedge wire filter screens from 25 micron up to 6,000 micron as standard and are suitable for backflushing, clean-in-place and steam-in-place options.

The filters, which are available with material traceability to BS EN 10204 (3.1), can be fabricated to customer requirements and include a high-capacity 15.24cm body design, a jacketed design for product heating or cooling, duplex, triplex and standalone designs with framework.
