R&R Ice Cream has recalled three varieties of multipack Chokablok ice cream due to fears the products might contain broken lolly stick.

The recall concerns three products sold from Tesco and One Stop stores. The products are Chokablok The Chocolate Extremist, 240ml, Chokablok Peanut Butter Nutter,  240ml and Chokablok Billionaires Dynamite, 240ml.

Best before

All products carry ‘best before’ end dates up to and including October 2012.

The recall was blamed on a production fault.

The Food Standards Agency described the recall as a “precautionary measure”.

Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all affected stores explaining why the products have been recalled.

No other R&R Ice Cream or Chokablok products are said to be affected.
