Plant extract supplier targets Europe
US-based Cactus Botanics aims to build its presence in Europe by establishing its first warehouse on the continent in Germany.
The firm specialises in botanical extracts, including milk thistle extract Silymarin, ginseng extract and stevia leaf extract and its product range includes powders, amino acids, vitamins and biochemicals.
It plans to use the Vitafoods trade show in Geneva in May as a springboard to introduce itself to European food and drink manufacturers. It will present a range of 10 products at the show, including antioxidant products lutein and resveratrol.
