Ingredients supplier Jardox has created a new range of seasonings in time for National Sausage Week, which starts on October 31.

Some of the sausage spices have been developed around Jardox’s street food focus.

The new seasonings include: Pork & Seville orange sausage – a citrus twist to a classic taste; Chinese pork, ginger & five spice sausage; Devil’s sausage – hot fiery chipotle and jalapeño chilli; Jamaican reggae sausage – sweet, fruity Caribbean pork sausage with a little chilli heat; Italian piccante sausage – hot Italian sausage with white wine, aniseed, fennel, paprika and chilli; Fiery Bonfire sausage – a spicy, smoky sausage.


Darren Sutton, development director at Jardox, says: “The classic British sausage is a household favourite and we are sure these new seasonings will be a big hit. Our street food focus continues with these new seasonings and exotic flavour combinations to offer retailers a greater choice.”
